Bust Out a Blazer!

A blazer is a great way to finish a look with a little polish and pizazz! This is my favorite thing to throw over a t-shirt or feminine top to add some hard edge and class. Here are some shots of my favorite way to work a blazer...

Want to steal this look? If you don't yet own a blazer, choose one in a neutral color like the ones shown above. By choosing a grey, creme, or black blazer you are leaving yourself with plenty of options for mixing and matching. And every girl knows options are a necessity! If you've got your neutral blazers try shopping for some with a bit more detail. Here are some blazers I wouldn't mind adding to my collection...(I'm sure you could have guessed there would be some stripes :)

Let Your Necklace Do the Talkin!

Bergdorf $795
A girl can dream...
I first heard of Olivia Palermo on MTV's reality show, "The City". While Palermo came off as a cold-hearted socialite with a bad case of brattitude, you can't deny her impeccable style. Olivia has done plenty of modeling, styling, and magazine work. In 2010 she launched her own jewelry line with Robert Freymann. You have to admit the girl knows how to work a statement necklace. This has been my favorite way to take an outfit from blah to beautiful with little to no effort. Try pairing a striped tshirt with a gaudy necklace. It creates the perfect contrast of grunge and glammer. ;)

Pair something complicated
with a simple white button up
for a chic day look.

Pair a long sparkly necklace with
a sleek blazer to give yourself a rich
and lengthy look.
Personally, my favorite
way to rock this style.

In order to channel this style savvy New York fashionista look for a statement necklace that can be mixed and matched with several different tops and dresses. I would suggest finding one with a hint of silver and gold, a few different pops of color, and something that says WOW! Here are some necklaces worthy of a home in your jewelry collection...

Anthropologie
$58, $48, $48
1. Forever 21- $7.80
2. Overstock.com- $13.99
3. Forever 21- $6.80

Before you begin your hunt for the perfect statement necklace to add to your collection, take a look at a couple outfits I've put together using my own stash of statement necklaces. Hoping this inspiration will get your fashion juices flowing and help you put together an outfit that is fast yet fascinating ;) Warning: I have a slight stripes obsession...

Ring Fetish

Lately I have been inspired to grow my ring collection. I have become accustomed to my wedding ring on the left hand, and my grandmother's engagement ring on my right hand. While I love diamonds and vintage it needed to be spiced up a bit. I am loving big gem, or edgy looking rings on an index finger. To get this look try finding a ring similar to some of my top picks...

Shoe Heaven

Right now I am really feigning for some nude wedges... Here are my pics for looking on top of the trend this spring...

I went with this beige pair because I love how transitional they can be. The best part about this neutral shoe look is they will work with nearly any outfit. Love that!

Ombre Hair

Ombre hair is the hottest new trend. I can't get over this hippy laid back seeming style. I love the effortlessness look of it.
